Walked in, wet
Jun. 15th, 2009 08:14 amI've got some library books to return, and since juggling them whilst riding didn't appeal that much, I thought I'd carry them into work, and drop them off on the way back home to check on Mali at lunchtime.
Stepping out of Castle Fox, and looking at the skies above, I thought it looked a bit murky, so picked up the brolly. By the end of the street the first spots of rain started to fall, and then, after ½, the heavens opened.
Residents of Hull, still scarred from the floods two years back, tend to watch the skies anxiously whenever we get solid rain, these days, and when it really started throwing it down, you could see that today was no exception.
It didn't last.
No, the rain eased off the very second - when else? - I got to work.
