The reason that CoS is top is because it marked the transition point in the series, for me, from being just purely a kiddies' series to something with the potential to be much darker, it expanded the timeline and also estranged Harry (if only temporarily) from the wizarding world.
List the movies in order from your most to least favourite.
The movies I find hard to get enthusiastic about. Richard Harris was Dumbledore in a way that Michael Gambon can never hope to emulate. I loved the cinematography in Prisoner of Azkaban, and thought that Order of the Phoenix made a decent fist of a book that wasn't my favourite, but I haven't seen the films enough to really attempt to order them.

Probably Bill - the long hair, the curse-breaking, the style...

Biggest letdown of the series?
Books V and VII, I'm afraid. I still don't think I actually understand Book VII. I'm up to GoF in this year's re-read, and will attempt to take a little more time on DH this time around.

And so, throughout the fic, he tends to deploy mostly relevant quotes at crucial points - it confuses the Purebloods, which is a bonus).
