My gMail account has been disabled! Oh noes :-(

Apparently I've breached the Google ToS, which seems... unlikely to me, but presumably further illumination will be forthcoming in due course.

Hopefully I can get it restored in short order :-/

It has been my experience that gmail and yahoo mail accounts are ridiculously easy to file a complaint against, and all it takes to pull your mail into the "this is a badguy" folder at either of these establishments, is for someone ignorant to see your addy via spammail-spoofing, and report you.

It's difficult to get your account reinstated, but not impossible; I'm sure three or four indignant emails will do the trick. It's my belief that these corporate entities have decided that the one-and-only method of determining humans from 'bots is tenacity. 'Bots simply give up after the second try, and create a new account.

I got that, too! When I tried to log on it told me my account had suspicious activities and told me to change my password.

Weird.
