Work is busy, with a deadline looming fast, and a spec that keeps morphing...

Finished Snow Crash, which was enjoyable, but the story seemed to die towards the end; nonetheless, considering when it was written, it's quite visionary in places.

It's slightly cyberpunkish, yes, but doesn't quite have the grittiness of William Gibson's Bridge trilogy (Virtual Light, Idoru, All 2Morrow's Parties). The more I think about it, though, the more similarities become apparent between the two authors (and having checked, I see that Snow Crash predates Virtual Light). I prefer Virtual Light, partly for the construct that is The Bridge, but probably because it's the one I read first.
